Jazz in Calvi 2024
from June 27 to 29, between Lumiu's Théâtre de Verdure and Calvi's old commercial quay. Corsican artists take center stage.
It's off to the races for the third edition of the Jazz in Calvi festival. Two concerts are scheduled for Thursday June 27 at the Théâtre de verdure in Lumio, with Jérémy Lohier duo and Claire Boni quartet. On the evening of Friday June 28, at the same venue, there will be Jules d'Angeli quartet, Charly Menasse with Olivier Hutman and guest Fabienne Marcangeli.
This year's program is essentially Corsican.
The Patrimonio Guitar Nights
The Patrimonio Guitar Nights take place from July 18 to 25, 2024. The opportunity to share excellent moments of music and conviviality in the unique setting of the open-air theater of Patrimonio.

Lama Film Festival
The 29th edition of the Lama Film Festival takes place from July 27 - August 2, 2024 in Balagne.
Competition for short films from Corsica and the Mediterranean islands.
The selection is open to documentary films produced in 2023/2024 - theme days are devoted to insularity and rurality.

Each year the Festival organizes a short-film competition on the Umbria site.
This year, 6 short films competed against a 3-member jury: Marie-Ange Geronimi, Marie-Pascale Castelli and Gray Orsatelli.
We announced the winner on the closing night: Amore Neru by Victor Hérault.
Fogata Cinema
Cinema room with 150 seats. On sunny days, a second room is available in the open air.
International Theatre Meetings
Performances from August 3 to 10, 2024
Over a four-week period, nearly a hundred trainees, actors and technicians come together to create a dozen shows, mixing contemporary and classical works. Under the guidance of experienced trainers, including directors, artists and technicians, this production workshop offers a unique and enriching experience, full of exchanges and know-how, constituting a true collective adventure. The resulting productions are presented to the public in August in the villages of Giussani, in the heart of Corsica's Regional Nature Park.

Performances from August 3 to 10, 2024

Under the guidance of experienced trainers, including directors, artists and technicians, this production workshop offers a unique and enriching experience, full of exchanges and know-how, constituting a true collective adventure. The resulting productions are presented to the public in August in the villages of Giussani, in the heart of Corsica's Regional Nature Park.
Renowned contributors to this adventure include Pierre Vial, Anne Levy, Mario Gonzalès, Jean-Claude Penchenat, René Jauneau, Aurélien Recoing and many others.
Artistic workshops will be organized to encourage sensitive expression, leave room for the imagination and enable expression within a collective. Each instructor proposes a work to be created and staged on site, with all the necessary tools and the collaboration of the theater's various trades, including actors, lighting, sound, set and costume technicians.
Trainees have the opportunity to work with two of the experienced speakers on two separate works, offering different ways of approaching theater. Les Rencontres offers the opportunity to discover or rediscover a classical or contemporary repertoire, in French or other languages.
Before the performances, the artists will lead discovery workshops for the public, including stage work, reading aloud, improvisation and circus. Each work restitution will be presented in public, under show conditions. Each trainee will have the opportunity to face a real audience at least eight times (four times for each performance).
This four-week internship offers total immersion in the theater, from 08:30 in the morning to 23:00 at night. It's an intensive experience where theater is at the heart of daily life, in a rigorous yet caring environment.
